Shipping Policy

At A Scent of Grace, we strive to get your favorite Arabic fragrances to your doorstep as quickly and safely as possible. We ship to all locations within South Africa.

1. Processing Times

  • All orders are processed within 2-10 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

  • You will receive a notification via email or SMS once your order has been dispatched.

  • During high-volume periods (such as Black Friday or Eid), processing may take up to 14 business days.

2. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

We offer flat-rate shipping across South Africa. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Standard Door-to-Door Courier: R100 (3–5 business days).

  • Main Centers (JHB, CPT, DBN): Usually delivered within 5–7 business days.

  • Outlying/Rural Areas: May take 5–7 business days.

3. Pudo / Locker Collection (Optional)

  • If you prefer to collect from a Pudo Locker, please specify the locker name in the shipping notes at checkout.

  • Pudo delivery typically takes 4–7 business days.

4. Track Your Order

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing a tracking number and a link to the courier’s website. You can track your parcel's journey in real-time.

5. Delivery Address & Re-delivery

  • Please ensure your delivery address and contact number are 100% correct. We cannot be held responsible for parcels delivered to the wrong address provided by the customer.

  • Our couriers deliver during business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM). Please ensure someone is available to sign for the parcel at your chosen address.

6. Fragile Handling & Damaged Parcels

Perfume bottles are fragile. We take extreme care in packaging your bottles with protective wrap to prevent breakage.

  • If your parcel arrives with visible external damage, please take a photo before opening it and notify the driver immediately.

  • Contact us at ascentofgrace777@gmail.com within 24 hours if the contents are damaged.

 

A few tips:

  • The Courier Guy: These are currently the most popular for SA e-commerce. If you use Pudo, make sure to mention it specifically, as many customers love to use a certain price point.

  • Local Pickup: If you are based in a specific city (like Johannesburg or Durban) and allow customers to collect from you, add a "Local Pickup" section to this policy.
